Welcome to the Girlhood Deck beta ✨
Thanks for helping us test! Here's what the app is now, exactly what happens after you sign up, and how to send us your thoughts.
What you're testing NEW — Sept 2026
The card-collecting version is gone. This is the new daily ritual.
- Three little moments a day. Morning, afternoon and evening, one of the AJC girls turns up with her artwork and something to say. Each moment opens at its time (7 am, 1 pm and 8 pm to start with) and stays open until midnight. Miss one? Nothing's lost — there are no streaks.
- Squeeze the perfume bottle to find out who you've got. The spray is different every time. If it feels too long, too short or too much, tell us.
- The afternoon asks how your day's going. Pick an answer and she'll meet you where you are — or choose "Surprise me".
- Everything lands in your Journal by day, with a heart to favourite the ones that hit.
- Settings (⚙️ on Today) lets you move the three times (at least three hours apart) and switch each reminder on or off.
🎨 The six girls, their artwork and their lines are stand-ins while
Cameron draws and writes the real ones. Judge the feel of the day, not the drawings.
iPhone — via Apple TestFlight
Apple's official beta-testing app delivers your build and updates.
- Watch your inbox for an invite from Apple.
Sender is
TestFlight/no_reply@email.apple.com— check spam or Promotions if it doesn't appear within a few minutes. - Tap "View in TestFlight" in the email on your iPhone. If you don't have the TestFlight app yet, the App Store will offer it first — it's free and made by Apple.
- Tap Install in TestFlight to get Girlhood Deck. New beta versions appear in TestFlight automatically — it'll badge when an update is ready.
- Send feedback any time: take a screenshot in the app, tap the screenshot preview, and choose Share Beta Feedback — or open TestFlight → Girlhood Deck → Send Beta Feedback. Your notes and screenshots come straight to the team.
💡 An orange dot next to the app name on your home screen
just means "beta version" — everything else works like a normal app.
🤖 Android — via Firebase App Distribution
Google's beta-testing service delivers your build and updates.
- Watch your inbox for the invitation.
Sender is
firebase-noreply— check spam if it doesn't show. The invite goes to the exact address you signed up with. - Tap "Get started" in the email on your Android phone and sign in with that same Google account.
- Follow the steps to install — you may be offered the small App Tester helper app, which makes installing and updating builds one tap. Android may ask you to allow installs from this source — that's expected for beta apps.
- Download the latest release and open Girlhood Deck.
- Send feedback any time: while the app is open you'll see an ongoing notification — "…is a test app. Send feedback to the developer". Tap it, mark up the screenshot, add your comments, send. Feedback lands with the team attached to the exact build you're running.
💡 When we ship a new build you'll get an email — open it
(or App Tester) and tap update. The in-app feedback notification only
appears if you installed through the invite, not from a raw APK file.
Try the whole day in a minute
You don't have to wait for the afternoon to test the afternoon.
- Open the link
ajc://debugon your phone. iPhone: type it into Safari's address bar. Android: send it to yourself in WhatsApp, email or Keep and tap it there — typing it into Chrome won't work. - Tap Toggle "all slots open" — all three moments are now available at once.
- Pull them back to back. To go again, tap Reset today's pulls.
- Tap Disable debug mode when you're done so the app behaves normally.
What we'd love feedback on
- Anything confusing — if you had to stop and think, tell us.
- Anything that looks wrong on your phone — screenshots help enormously.
- The ritual — do three moments feel right, and do the morning, afternoon and evening feel different from each other?
- The reveal — does the perfume bottle build anticipation, or get in the way?
- The voices — could you tell which girl was talking before you saw her name?
- The ads — a full-page ad sometimes plays before the second and third moments. Too often? Badly placed?
